A celebration of Baptism for the 64 children of Zanmi Beni was held on December 21, 2014. The beautiful ceremony was held on the grounds of Zanmi Beni – “A Place to Call Home” and witnessed by over 150 friends and guests. Music and singing was lead by the children, all dressed in white baptismal dresses or suits. Friars from the Southern Dominican Province presided over the ceremony. After the ceremony, Dr. Paul Farmer spoke about how the 2010 Earthquake brought a “web” of organizations and friends together to care and protect the children who now call Zanmi Beni home.
